So let me just say, this whole clipping coupons thing is new to me. I really am just starting out. I don't think I really realized what I was getting myself into. I literally ordered four pounds of inserts from Coupon Dede. I've clipped five inserts total so far, last night after dinner and this afternoon during my son's nap. Sweet Jesus, this is a lot of work! I haven't even BEGUN to organize them, I'm still in the cutting out phase. All I can say is it's a good thing I've got five days till payday and my next trip to the store. Good lord! All of this is a little overwhelming for a coupon newbie like me, especially since the ladies who work check out at the commissary are extremely particular about coupon usage, and I really need to work on growing a pair of cojones if I'm going to make this couponing stuff work. Oh well, clipping coupons passes the time once little man is in bed and papa bear is still at school.
In other news, I'm on day four of the flylady.net beginner baby steps program. My husband is already impressed with the headway I've made in our house, I abhor cleaning with every fiber of my being, but her page is the right kind of motivation for me I guess. I like that her method is all about making it into a routine, that's really what I need, I'm particularly scatterbrained, and especially when I'm pregnant.
Speaking of pregnancy, my next OB appointment is on Monday, which is of course super exciting. I'm really hoping to get an ultrasound. They've been monitoring my cervical length at each appointment, so hopefully they'll check it again this time and I can get a few more pictures of our little "Gooby." (Don't ask me, Steven started poking my belly one morning when we were getting out of bed and saying gooby, so it stuck. Men, lol.)
